Fall at River Oaks Golf Course and Event Center is the best time of year! With our location nestled right in the Mississippi River Valley, our grounds become even more beautiful as the leaves begin to change and we start our fall season.
When the leaves start to change, River Oaks continues to have opportunities for you to get outdoors! You can enjoy a round of golf, play in a private bocce tournament, or enjoy an evening at the bar and grill we have on site. There are many things to do, and much fun to be had! Golf Lessons are a great way to continue to grow your golf game during a season when things start to slow down. This fall, whether you’re interested in trying a new sport without the sweltering heat or if you’re looking to improve your fundamentals, River Oaks’s golf pro, Barret Boe, PGA has you covered.
Boe structures lessons that will fit your needs and will help get you on track to develop the right skills you can use for the rest of the Fall and into the next season at River Oaks. Regardless of your age, skill level, or experience– lessons will help you grow confidence and set you up for success.

Try River Oaks Golf Course’s Toptracer driving range this fall
This Fall, at River Oaks our Toptracer Driving Range is open and ready for your use! The Fall season is a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors, and there isn’t anything better than getting out and working on your golf swing with our top of the line Toptracer technology.
The Toptracer system is user-friendly and available with any purchase of balls for your driving range session. Toptracer is a ball tracking system that gives you real-time information about your shots, and it even stores the information for you so you can keep track of your progress. The data you get from the program includes ball speed, ball rotation, and distance– all available at your fingertips after each shot, easily making it one of the best practice tools any range has to offer.
To use the Toptracer system, you will need to download the Toptracer Range app. After creating your profile, you will be able to choose different games to play during your practice session and sort through information based on data from your golf swing.

Book your tee time at River Oaks Golf Course this fall
One of our most popular activities at River Oaks this fall is the use of our golf course, located in the Mississippi River Valley. River Oaks Golf Course is an 18-Hole scenic golf course with a par of 71. We have 57 sand bunkers and three ponds throughout the course. It’s a course that is well suited for all skill levels, making it a great place for everyone to play a round of golf this fall.
During the fall months, there are typically more tee times available for you to choose from as the popular Summer season dies down. At River Oaks, we have tee times available from sun-up to sun-down, and you can choose to book an 18-hole reservation or a 9-hole reservation. Because of more demand for tee times, we ask that if anything changes with your reservation or if you’re unable to make your tee time that you call our Golf Shop or update your tee time on the website. This will allow more people to enjoy the course this fall and make it an even better experience for everyone involved.

Bocce ball private events at River Oaks this fall
Are you looking for another activity to do this Fall that might not be completely golf-oriented? At River Oaks, we have two bocce courts that you can book for a private event with us to enjoy with your friends and family.
The private bocce event you can book with us includes the use of the bocce courts, an outdoor bar, and several bean bag toss games, and tents you can use for extra shade. The bocce courts are located next to the 18th hole on our golf course, and have a great view of the Mississippi River Valley below. It’s a great way to spend some time outdoors and have fun while doing it!
Celebrations that work well with private bocce events at River Oaks include birthdays, retirement parties, family reunions, wedding parties, team building events, and even more! We can host a group up to 32 in a tournament style format, which is great for any party!
