Events at River Oaks Golf Course & Event Center for You to Attend this Fall and Winter
During the winter, people usually don’t think about going to a golf course in Minnesota. However, this fall and winter, we have some amazing events coming up for our community to continue to enjoy our event center!
If you’re looking for fun things to do this winter, look no further. River Oaks places value in building relationships with members of our community, and we have multiple evenings in the next few months that you are invited to attend.
From customer appreciation events, shows, and dinners– we want you to join your fellow community members this winter for nights you’ll always remember!
Here are some events happening for the remainder of 2023 that you, your family, and friends can attend:
1. Dinner and Dueling Pianos (Saturday, Nov. 4, Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 30)
Join us for one of our fan-favorites— the Dueling Pianos! This event is performed by Sweet Keys, and is a great opportunity to enjoy a fun night with your 21+ adult friends and family! This event has dinner and a pre-dinner social included before the show
starts.
Check out the dueling pianos event and enjoy the music with excellent company! This event is starting at $75 plus tax per individual, or save money by claiming a table with a group of 8 for $500 plus tax.
This event is occurring for multiple evenings, so make sure to secure your spot for an evening that works for you and your friends and family! We are hosting this event Nov. 4, Dec. 8 and Dec. 30 of 2023. This is a great time to spend time with your loved ones and have an enjoyable evening to bring in the holiday season and new year!

2. The 2023 Customer Appreciation Event at River Oaks (Thursday, Nov. 2)
Are you a golf member, golf league participant, bocce ball player, banquet host, wedding guest or one of River Oaks’s loyal customers?
Come join us at River Oaks on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. to celebrate our appreciation for you during our Customer Appreciation Event! This event features a free buffet, various vendors and samples, a 2024 gift card promotion, an apparel sale, various giveaways and raffles, and music by Cottage Grove’s own Hailey James.
This event is for our loyal customers and free– but RSVPs are required for you and a guest. Make sure to include the name and email address of your guest while you complete your reservation on our Customer Appreciation Event page!

3. River Oaks’s Friendsgiving Dinner (Friday, Nov. 10)
Are you looking for an event that you can attend with your friends for an amazing dinner? Join us at River Oaks on Friday, Nov. 10 for our Friendsgiving Dinner event! Grab your friends or coworkers and enjoy a family-style meal in good company!
The menu for the Friendsgiving dinner includes holiday favorites like roasted turkey with sage gravy, cornbread stuffing with smoked turkey, a sweet potato casserole, and even some homemade pumpkin pie.

4. Joseph Carr Wine Dinner (Thursday, Nov. 30)
Are you a fan of wine and wine tastings? If you are, or if you’re looking for a great evening with great company, food, and beverages– this is the event for you!
Join us at River Oaks for an evening as we go through a wine tasting of Joseph Carr wines. Each wine is paired perfectly with a dish on our four-course prix-fixe menu, carefully created by Head Chef Isaac Jones.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a social gathering and butler-passed hors d’oeuvres and a welcome glass of Josh Cellars Prosecco, before you receive your first course at 6 p.m.
It is a four course evening, starting with pistachio crusted scallops over creamy orzo with wilted spinach… delicious, right? The last course finishes out your evening with a mouth watering milk chocolate mousse cake with hazelnut crunch crust.

5. Breakfast with Santa (Sunday, Dec. 10)
Breakfast with Santa is back on Sunday, Dec. 10! Don’t miss out on pictures with Santa, enchanted sleigh rides around the course and a delicious meal! The cost is $19 for adults and $14 for children ages 4-10, plus tax and gratuity. The menu features delicious food items like Santa’s scrambled eggs, Rudolph’s favorite french toast sticks, ho-ho-ho potatoes and bacon and sausage from the North Pole.
