River Oaks Golf Course, positioned in the scenic Mississippi River Valley, is an 18-hole golf course with a par of 71. With three ponds and 57 sand bunkers, the course has been a Golf Digest “4 ½ Star Best Places to Play.” The course has opportunities for both experienced golfers and those interested in learning the game. With top-notch service and experience from the staff, it’s a great experience for all involved.

Flexible Golf Lessons
Are you new to golf or looking to improve your fundamentals? River Oaks’s golf pro, Barret Boe, PGA, structures lessons to fit your needs and help you develop your skills. Boe has given more than a thousand lessons to beginners, high schoolers, college athletes, and professional golfers who want to reach their full potential.
Golf lessons are great for many reasons, regardless of your age, skill level, and experience on the course. Lessons will increase your confidence on the golf course, golf swing fundamentals, and strategies straight from a golf pro. Lessons can help fine-tune your techniques as you grow as a golfer and is arguably the most efficient way to improve as a golfer.

River Oaks Golf Course is home to a top-notch grass driving range that is perfect for any level of golfer. Driving ranges are perfect for those who are looking to spend time working on their swing and get some hits in. You can take your time to go through the bucket of balls provided in the golf shop and work on improving your game.
At River Oaks, we have a Toptracer Driving Range- the ultimate practice tool. Toptracer is a ball tracking system that uses advanced cameras to track the flight of the golf ball, removing the guesswork out of your range sessions. It provides you with real-time data about your shots and is a great tool to use while developing your game.
The Toptracer Range app is where this all happens. Guests can create a profile, instantly immersing themselves into the global golf community. The app will store data from practice sessions to allow you to improve your techniques and fine-tune your swing over time. The app also allows you to access skill-based games to enhance your range session.

Time to Book your Tee Times
Are you ready to get started golfing on the course? Great! To get started, you will need to book a tee time. A tee time is a reservation at a golf course that allows you to begin your round of golf at a specific time. So, if you have a tee time scheduled for 8:35 am, you or someone in your group will be hitting their first shot then (so, essentially the time is when you tee off).
At River Oaks, tee times are required so people can use the course from sun-up to sun-down, and give everyone a great experience. You book an 18-hole reservation or a 9-hole reservation. But, to golf a 9-hole, the reservation will need to be after 12:00 pm or on a holiday.
We also ask that if anything changes with your reservation, or if you are unable to make your tee time due to unforeseen events, you call our Golf Shop or update your tee time on the website. By doing this we can cut down on no-shows so more people can enjoy the course.

River Oaks Golf Leagues… For Everyone
Golfing is a great way to meet people, have fun, and get some exercise while doing it. One of the best ways to consistently get out on the course and meet new people is to join a League. At River Oaks, there are leagues available for everyone on different days of the week for a wide range of skill levels.
The leagues we currently offer are:
1. Tuesday/Wednesday Senior Mens League
-Senior Men’s leagues play on both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 6:30 to 11 a.m.
-Golfers will play at the same time and with the same golfers every week.
-Couple’s League plays on Tuesday evenings between 5 to 6 p.m.
-This league is a great way to get out and meet other couples on the course!
3. Wednesday/Thursday Juniors League
-The Junior Intro League is a league designed for golfers ages 7-17 that takes place on Wednesdays from 1 to 3:30 pm and Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
-The Wednesday Juniors League is for beginners, and the Thursday Juniors League is for advanced beginners.
-The Women’s League is for any woman regardless of skill level or experience, with tee times from 5 to 6 p.m. every Wednesday.
-This is a great way for women to get out, meet new people, and have a great time.
-The Ladies League plays from 7 to 9 a.m. on Thursdays.
-There is both a 9-hole and 18-hole division available to ensure everyone is able to enjoy!
6. Saturday Morning Men’s Club
-Saturday Morning Men’s Club tee times are on Saturday mornings between 7 to 10 a.m.
-This is a competitive league with various events to compete in, different week by week.
