River Oaks is pleased to announce multiple golf opportunities for boys and girls. The mission of our programs is to provide juniors the opportunity to experience the great game of golf, its traditions, etiquette, and swing fundamentals. See below for descriptions and recommendations for our junior golf offering for the 2025 season.
- New to golf? As the title implies, our “Try It Golf” clinics are an introduction to the game and specific concepts of the swing. The instruction offers many key points and an opportunity to practice.
- For juniors looking for instruction/coaching, we offer 4-day camps. These camps offer a variety of topics including swing concepts, course rules and definitions. Each camp will be broken into age and ability groups.
- If you want to join a Traveling Team and learn more in depth golf concepts and competition, joining our Junior PGA team is a perfect choice. PGA Junior league is a national program where juniors receive PGA instruction, competition vs. other teams, uniforms, and a chance to advance to a national championship.
- If you are more experienced and are looking for some competition in your game, we will be offering a Junior 9-hole league on Wednesday afternoons.
Registration will begin online on Feb. 1, 2025 – sign up early as most programs fill up quickly.
