Thursday Morning Ladies League Member,
Hello everyone! Great to get going in 2013 and leave 2012 behind in the dust, and here’s to a great golf and weather season on Thursday mornings!
I have enclosed a 2013 Membership Application and a 2013 Event Sheet. I have tried to move around and change some events for 2013. If you have any events that you would care to try just let me know. As a reminder this league plays Thursday mornings from roughly 7:30am-9:00am for both 9 and 18 holes.
In year 2012 we had a membership total of 65. We hope to grow that number in 2013. If you know of any individuals who might care to join, just let me know and I will forward them the information. Your golf league was developed to promote golf, fun, meet others, and play golf.
As a reminder, 2010 it was decided (by vote) to go to Preferred Starting Times in 2013. In other words each group will be assigned the same time each week, to help prevent calling in and the hassles. Staff will review this procedure in spring.
Also, check out the web site www.riveroaksmunigolf.com and find video golf lessons, money saving coupons, calendar, newsletters and a lot more.
Our spring meeting will take place Thursday April 11th , 2013 at 10:00am at the River Oaks Clubhouse. We will discuss starting times, rain days, new ideas, invitational, handicaps, speed of play, and more. Coffee and Danish will be provided.
The Ladies Invitational will take place on July 18th, 2013. It is a great round of golf, friends, prizes, fun, and lunch. Be sure and pass the word and tell everyone!
Also, 2013 will be the last year of a three process to refurbish sand bunkers.
Our staff enforces all polices adopted by your league. Please try and attend your spring meeting on April 12th @ 10:00am.
